Unirow, Lembaran kisah nyata

Unirow, as the prosperous University is having lots of potential to move forward and be the best. however, I have my own note regarding my own experience. Remember, this is just a note. here is the my Own note from my Online secret Diary for my friend, Kurilz Endlessacrifice

I copy it here to answer the question regarding UNIROW. as I have less time online in Facebook, this is the only place everyone would be able to write the opinion and I’ll reply it in few second. any question should be written in the comment.

bgini, setahu saya, Status bahasa inggris di Unirow sudah terakreditasi. beberapa memang ada yang belum dan beberapa sedang diusahakan. beberapa bulan yang lalu saya termasuk salah satu mahasiswa yang ikut berdemo karena melihat nasib mahasiswa PGSD yang kurang jelas. setelah beberapa kali berdiskusi dengan rektor secara langsung, akhirnya rektor bilang kalo sedang diusahakan(ini kasus PGSD bukan bahasa inggris). rektor mengatakan kalau sangat sulit menemui menteri pendidikan karena beberapa bulan yang lalu memang sedang ada beberapa 'tragedi' di kementerian(tragedi malez melayani rakyat..hehehe..).
akhirnya pihak Unirow yang telah melobi ke jakarta berhasil dalam misinya.
saya akui,selama kuliah di Unirow, kesannya adalah Unirow mengebut dengan membuka begitu banyak cabang baru. saya kurang paham dengan sistem kerja UNirow tetapi yang saya pahami, Unirow selalu ingin mempunyai banyak cabang baru meskipun terkendala tempat dan jumlah kelas. sebagai mahasiswa unirow, saya paham betul betapa sulitnya memilih kelas saat kuliah karena semua kelas biasanya telah terisi dan banyak jadwal berseliweran dalam pemakaian kelas. hal tersebut diatasi unirow dengan cara membuat jadwal agar mahasiswa masuk selama 3 hari seminggu(kalau dulu 4-5 hari) untuk berbagi ruang kelas.

ada sisi baik yang saya lihat dari begitu gencarnya Unirow mengadakan jurusan-jurusan baru. diantaranya adalah kita punya banyak pilihan untuk kuliah dan semakin banyaknya jurusan membuat semakin mudah mendapatkan titel tertentu seperti yang diinginkan.
sisi negatifnya, terkesan kalau ada keinginan untuk mengeruk keuntungan sebanyak-banyaknya. artinya, dengan semakin banyak mahasiswa akan semakin banyak pemasukan. untuk kualitas pengajaran, Unirow senantiasa berusaha memajukan kredibilitasnya.(saya bukan promosi) namun sepanjang yang saya tahu,Unirow masih belum optimal dalam peningkatan mutu pengajaran.
sebagai catatan, akan saya ceritakan tentang seorang teman kuliah saya yang juga dari jawa tengah. dia seperti anda. kuliah di Unirow namun dari cabang Jateng. disana sangat mudah. yang saya dengar, tinggal bayar kuliah terus pasti lulus. dia bercerita kalau disana sistem kuliahnya sangat beda dengan yang ada di Unirow. katanya, disana sangat santai karena rata-rata yang kuliah disana sebagian besar adalah para guru yang hanya ingin mencari Ijazah.
saya tidak kaget dengan hal tersebut. bersama teman-teman, kita pernah turun untuk mengingatkan pihak Unirow agar tidak seperti itu. dari pihak yang kuliah di tingkat cabang, mereka bilang sangat jarang ketemu dosennya. memang aneh. terus mereka juga bilang, dosennya penuh pengertian karena sama-sama pengajar.
kontan hal ini membuat gesekan, akhirnya cerita dari mahasiswa di tingkat cabang ini menyulut konflik. karena hal ini semakin menyebar, beberapa Dosen yang dikomandoi Petinggi dan pendiri Unirow yang masih hidup(kalau tidak salah pak Ghoib) langsung memerintahkan mahasiswa jurusan agar segera ikut kuliah di Unirow untuk memenuhi syarat ikut Ujian.
itulah asal mulanya mengapa teman saya dari cabang jateng tadi ikut sekelas dengan saya. pada walnya mereka sangat tidak kuat kuliah di kampus unirow karena disini suasananya sangat beda dengan di tingkat cabang. disini semua harus disiplin.
Pak Muin merupakan contoh Dosen yang Disiplin dan memiliki pengetahuan bahasa inggris yang luar biasa. saya beberapa kali mendapat teguran dari beliau dan mungkin termasuk mahasiswa yang kuarang disukainya namun saya sangat menghormatinya.
pak Gatot dan bu kristin(kajur) merupakan dosen yang sangat berat. beliau berdua punya karakteristik tersendiri diantaranya sangat selektif dalam hal nilai(+) dan juga sangat luarbiasa dalam mengajar bahasa bahasa inggris. kalau pak khrisna dan pak Budhi, beliau berdua merupakan dosen kesayangan banyak mahasiswa. tanpa mereka Unirow bisa sepi. pak budhi ini selain master karate, pandai main musik,setahu saya semua alat musik. main gitar terbalik dan juga sangat handal dalam main sulap(kok malah jadi cerita pengalaman pribadi.)
Intinya, semua yang saya tulis diatas TIDAK ADA BUKTI TERTULIS namun semua itu merupakan buah pikiran dari apa yang saya tahu dan apa yang saya rasakan.
seandainya masih ada pertanyaan lagi, silakan ditanyakan dan pastinya akan saya jawab sebisa saya.

Oh,ya sebagai catatan, ini adalah pemikiran saya pribadi.
salahkan saya kalau saya memberikan opsi yang salah pada anda.
saya rasa anda tidak akan keliru jika kuliah di Unirow. kalau tidak percaya, anda bisa membuktikannya sendiri. kalau masih ragu-ragu, lihat saja dari teman yang kuliah di Unirow. semoga nantinya saya bisa bertemu anda di bumi Ronggolawe. kalau anda memilih kuliah di tingkat cabang, pada saat Ujian kita semua pasti bertemu. amin.

Saya termasuk mahasiswa yang sudah kuliah dari angkatan tahun 2005 dan seharusnya lulus di tahun 2009. pada tahun 2008, saya adalah ketua UKM BIORA, salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Bidang Olah raga Unirow yang merupakan wadah mahasiswa Unirow dalam bidang Olahraga. saya sangat malas dalam kuliah dan lebih sering aktif dalam kegiatan kemahasiswaan. penyebab saya belum lulus adalah saya yang terlalu malas kuliah dan entah apa yang saya cari. sistem pengajaran di Unirow sudah lebih dari cukup atau sangat baik.

meski banyak pemikiran kurang menyenangkan dan meremehkan Unirow, sebagai mahasiswa Unirow saya selalu berani berkata "SAYA BANGGA MENJADI MAHASISWA UNIROW"
sebuah PR untuk pemimpin unirow agar senantiasa memajukan Unirow. sebagai mahasiswa, teman-teman dan saya hanya turut mengiringinya. amin.

KKN UNIROW

KKN UNIROW is derived from words KULIAH KERJA NYATA UNIROW 2010. KKN or called “College Practice in Society” is being held in every year. Unirow as a University with a great dedication to the society held the program a month Ago. the program will be over in 2 months.

it is always make me so excited when it comes to KKN. I have lots of story to write at this page. but, Hey, i guess you don’t wanna hear my boring story. back in 2008, I was in the last sixth semester and all the student in the sixth semester in Unirow must ‘going down to the society’ to implement the skills and also the knowledge all the student have gained in the campus. there are 12 students in my group. by the way, i don’t really remember how much are the groups. i believe there are more than thirty five but my friends next to me (she is laugh at me now, we are having lunch by the time I write this article) said there are more than forty groups consists of ten until fourteenth student. well, I don’t wanna start arguing with her right now, so I will said there are forty groups,lol.

The first things we need to do before doing KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata in Unirow) is listening to the motivator and the people elected by the university to give us some material before we ‘going down to the battlefield’.

two days are enough for us to gather all the material beside who wanna hear the boring story for more then two days? I do gave up no more than two hours (I slept all the times when the speaker talk and gave us the material, please don’t tell my lecturer or I will…hehehe…)

actually my group consists of ten people, the two other were coming from the other groups which wanna join my group. then, there is an election to choose the chief of the group. I don’t know why they choose me. maybe they think I was the only good looking person in the team, while the other said I was the good people to handle those big mission beside no one will be able to save the earth except me,lol.

Don’t start arguing with me, I knew i was not the best people in the team. I do wanna go back in the past and join group 22 (I forgot tao say if mine is group eleven). do you know why? because there is a girl. yes, a girl which said she is really love me so much. as a good person with no guilty at all,lol, I accept her as my Girl friend. so it is just a month before KKN she said she love me. actually, i don’t remember whether it is her or me who said love for the first time. hehehe..

as a chief of group eleven, we must doing KKN in a ‘Gempol Village’ a village with lot’s of bad guys’ (I just kidding this time ^_^, people at Gempol is really kind). there are severe problem. after doing more than 3 times survey in that place, we found out if the location is not suitable for KKN. so we talk to mrs. Rita the people who is responsible for KKN and ask her nicely to move us from that place. after speak with ‘pak camat’ lol, we are given two option in GedongOmbo or another place which i forgot the name.

believe me , there are no other group which was given an option to choose the place(i is not a something I can brag anyway,lol). do you know when students make a demand to the university? it is called “Demo” (my english is totally terrible so, forgive my bad explanation.hehehe…) I do join it and with some student. we confront with lots of people from University. the responds from the university was awesome, Mr. Tugur came down to the crowd and calm down the situation. Unirow is great University after all.

In GedongOmbo, we have so many lesson. the only important things i have discover is not to think we are the best because of what the education degree we have but to think what we can do to to make the prosperous and dreamed society. there are always better people than us. so, don’t even think you are better than the other because the other maybe have a better thing than you. don’t even think you better than me because I do better than you.(just kidding guys, I know all of you are better than me, a lonely webmaster,lol..)

Unirow is a university in tuban east java that connect student with lecturer and other who engaged in learning, practice and teaching. Student learn in Unirow to improve skills, keep up with friends, and gaining more experiences. thousand of young learner around Tuban, Bojonegoro, Lamongan, Pati and jepara sign up every year. as a new university founded in January 04 2007, Unirow has more than forty classes and twenty five studies to choose.

with the so many student sign up, Unirow is starting to move forward faster than before. it is expected in near 2015 Unirow will evolve into more advancing University with so many classes to choose. there are lots of free communities to help student learn and develop the skill. some of them would be English community and Sport club.

Unirow would be the great place to learn english as there is a native speaker. improving english will be easy with help of notive speaker. the lack of pronunciation and grammar could be override by speaking and communicating with native speaker.

every class in Unirow has more than fan and more than eight lamps. the fans and lamps is really useful when it is come to dark or if there are heavy rains.

the benefit of learning in unirow are the good lecturer and great places. Unirow is claimed as the other prospective university in Indonesia. The learning system have been improved and the rules have been corrected to reflect more problems.

every people in tuban is really proud of Unirow because it have been help so many students from senior high schools to advancing the studies into higher level.

actually there are lots of university in Indonesia which have so many great name. there are UNESA, UNIBROW and other great names. most of them are growing from the small university and then slowly but steady become the great university.

Unirow has it own unique logo. the logo is considered to be the best to reflect the education and symbol of education. logo Unirow is really great and useful to identify Unirow with other University in Indonesia. each university has it own logo as the symbol and the Unirow have it too. there are lots of hope in the logo itself.

as the new university, Unirow definitely have it own path and clearly shows as the alternative university for everyone. Unirow is developed from the ground zero to be the great university which is able to accommodate the vision of the government and society to improve the human resources.

some learners come from surabaya, jakarta and other big countries all around Indonesia to learn and improving more skills in teaching. Many student have been graduated from Unirow. some of them are now working as teacher while the other work as the professional in the so many sectors.

Unirow is not the greatest yet, but it definitely have its own characteristics. in the next few years it is estimated that Unirow will gain more strength and would be able to compete with other university in Indonesia.

by the way, i do promise my friends to write an article about communications. this is the article especially written by me. (expect some human error as my English is terrible). due to many people search for UNIROW and LOGO UNIROW, I will be offline in two days.

Improving Communication in UNIROW

As a social people in social community, communication is a crucial things to interact and connecting with other people. sometimes, communication is a big problem when it comes to speak with a someone in our live. an example is, sometimes we have really hard times to speak with a someone we really love. this article will help you to improve communication while keep it smooth and still with the proper manner in Indonesian custom.

Why we need to improve the communication skill?

Imagine this, you are lost in the jungle while there are lots of people have the same problem with you. suddenly there are other people passing in the jungle. You were still quiet and the others speak and ask with the people whom passing the jungle. other people were saved because they were speak with other people while you were still lost in the jungle and struggling to get out from it but failed because you refuse to speak and communicate with others.

I know, the example above is really bad, I knew that. the point is, We have to communicate in order to interact with other people and share our feelings.

To improve the communications, we have  to understand other people. other will not pleasure with us if we cannot understand what they say and what they want. it not only means we have to understand their language but also the topic it talked. try to understand the other people and naturally, you will understand on how to make a good communications.

make sure to speak clear and calm. we have to understand what we want to say and told them. we have to explain our points clearly and make the other people who listen to clearly understands. just remember to use the proper language.

next, we have to listen them. don't just speak, we have to listen them in order to make a good communications. try to make them as a subject and object. we should understand what they said and try to understand what they said.

the next important thing to memorize is, we have to make a decision based in the situations and learn from the experiences.

Improve Presentation Skills by Arick UNIROW

Lots of us as an English learner surely will need to be able to make a great presentation. it is not really hard and not that easy either. many students fail to present a good presentation because the lack of skill and never learn about the technique on how to improve the presentation skill.

to be able deliver the good presentation, there are several things we need to understand. here are my opinion based on my own experiences.

1.join a group. this is really good way as you will doing some presentation and your friends will give their opinion. it is the easy and effective way as you can learn from your friends presentations. learn on how they perform it and you will be able to know what are their mistake and why did they able to make a great presentation. use it at your own advantages. Don't be surprised on how bad or great you are. this is way you need join a group. to learn from others while enhancing your skills. take the good things and leave the bad things alone. this is what my teacher told me. ^_^

2.Make a group. Don't get confused by the first and the second. the first said you have to join a group and the second says you have to make your own group and you will be the leader of the group. why? here are the reasons. first, it is assumed that you have learn the basic skills from the other by joining a group and now it is the time to make a presentation in front of your own friends and ask their opinion. it will increase your confident because you already knew how to make a great presentation from the other members by joining group. Second, you will be able to know how great your skills comparing to your friends. It means you will be able to indentify how great you are in your class or your OWN community. you might be the worst in the group you have joined but i believe you could be the best in a group you have created. simply because you have a skill and others don't have it. remember to make a group based on your community and not based your class. a community based territory is great because the presentation can be performed many times. you wouldn't make a presentation if your home far away with your classmate, so choose to make a group based territory

3. make sure to do lots of practice. You have to practice everyday and every time. don't get me wrong. you could talk to the others and when they ask you a question, you can consider it is the times for you to make a presentation. if you explain it well, they will understand and your presentation skill will be improved. remember, the basic skill of the presentation is to explain and perform an action to make others understand on what we talking about. use proper manners and the skill to make a good presentation like as, make a clear statements and never show if you are panic or make explain the object by using an example.

4.make sure you could make a mistake. you are a human and thus will be able to make a mistake. You can think yourself as the best people in the class even the reality your skills is bad enough. don't worry, it happen to everyone. (happen to me lots of time). this is why you need a tools to know your limit and skills. you have to use a video recorder . a camera phones is enough. it used to analyze your skills and to supply you with the informations on how to improve your skills. this is necessary after you think yourself as the best person in class. ^_^

5.You have need to master the object of the presentations. if you want to make a presentation on how to STOP SMOKING, you have to know why we need not to smoke. are there any other way to replace it? any dangerous in it? do you have references? do you have a theory? can you prove your theory? and others. the main important thing is. don't talk to much if you don't know anything. the presentation is considered success if you can explain and the others understand. we have a limitation and thus we may couldn't explain the question. just make sure we explain if WE DON'T KNOW but explain with a manners that make the one who ask the question satisfied with your answer. how could they satisfied if I can't answer their question? this is the hard things to do and most people who make a presentation failed to understand this. many people will try to answer and debate it with the asker. it is useless as you were not fully understand about the question asked. just make sure to said you are not fully master it but keep saying your point. the asker maybe disappointed but if you explained it with the correct formulas, the asker will satisfied with you. this is hard and need lots of train. remember to increase your wisdom. ^_^

6.Speak with yourself. Hey, DON'T TRY THIS AT SCHOOL or many of your friends will think you have an error in your mind. ^_^. try this at home only. by speaking to yourself, you can be the position of the one who make a presentation and also the asker. by the way, speak with other could also help. read above.

7.Remember to always stay calm. no need to hurry. use less speak with full of density words. avoid confusing asker with the others while the question is not fully answered. stay calm and never show your fear. avoid making lots of movement while answering a question. make a good intonations and try to catch the heart of the askers with voices or other movement. when we catch their attention and they think we are interesting, we can move on the presentation with a great result.

How to Improve our Skill in Futsal at UNIROW

Some Futsal Tips: Top 5 Ways to help improve futsal skill in UNIROW

Some of my friends always ask me the technique on how to improve skills in playing Futsal. I decided to write this article so if there are anyone wish to know about it just looking at this place.. Remember these may not work for everybody but it may give you some ideas as to what will work for you.

1. Play with the Your Friends.

this is personal suggestion because it has always worked for me. Since I was young whenever I had the chance...I would always playing with my friends. During free times in Campus,I spent my times just by playing Futsal in Unirow Futsal Square.

it is believed will increase mental toughness when played with our friends because there would be competition and we will do our best to win the game. our friends will do the same and thus, it will increase our toughness.

the physical toughness Increase because Our friends playing hard and they move quickly and in order to win the game, I have to compete with them then I'd have to learn how to overcome their technique, Passing and accurate Shooting, Sometimes our friends will make hard shooting that really hard to tackle.

Playing Futsal in Unirow surely really good. I love it.

2. Learn and practice By Yourself.

To play better Futsal, don't underestimate the importance of passing and shooting. you have to be able to shoot, passing ball and stop your friends movement. Practice it by yourself and you will be fine. no need to learn on how to be master the great techniques. just focus on how to master the basics things above.

3. get a professional to teach you.

This is not necessary if you just want to be able to play futsal but this is really important to build your skill quickly and efficient. try this if you need to master futsal in just a week.

4. Play Futsal with weaker team..

Not everybody can play futsal and this is going to be your advantages, Get a team with weaker member and playing with stronger team. you maybe lose but this will make you control the game because none of the member in your people have greater skills than you. You are the one that will be the center of attention in your team and you will decided on how your team performance against your opponent team. after you found the way to control the condition in the field, you can play against weaker opponent.

5. Train your body.

use gyms or alternatively train yourself by running in the morning and night. why night? because your body will be able to overcome the problem when you have to play futsal in the night. don't forget to work out because it will help you regain you glorious moment. the more you work out, the better it will be. google is your friend that will help bringing you the technique on how to workout and train the body.

Kenanganku di UNIROW

Hmmm.... banyak banget kenangan sebagai mahasiswa unirow. Susah senang silih berganti. Terkadang menyenangkan namun suatu saat juga kurang menyenangkan.

Masih ingat dengan jelas kenangan pertama kali aku mengikuti ospek di unirow. aku teringat saat temanku satu sekolah yang tidak membawa dasi, karena aku orangnya baik,dasiku kupinjamkan kepada dia dengan resiko aku kena hukuman, ya, beginilah resiko orang yang rela berkorban demi orang lain.hehehe... biarpun dihukum,eh, ditempat itu bisa kenal sama orang-orang cakep calon penghuni unirow . emang ga’ salah apa yang dibilang orang tua. Kalo kita berbuat baik, ga’ Cuma dapat pahala,tapi juga bisa senang. And bener juga sih,...lumayan dapat kenalan baru.^_^ setelah itu masuk kelas and suasananya biasa saja. Hari pertama terlewati tanpa kenangan yang berarti selain duduk dikelas dan mendengarkan pemateri (malahan lebih menyenangkan pas dapat hukuman..hehehe..). Rasanya hambar.hehehe...

Hari kedua, Oh ya,ospek dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dan pada hari pertama tidak ada persyaratan selain memakai seragam putih,celana hitam dan memakai dasi.tentunya bersepatu juga. Hari kedua masih sama, cuman ditambahin membuat tulisan dari kardus dan dipakaikan di depan dada. Kalo hari ketiga bawa pita dan gelas aqua.(“hal yang tidak mendidik intelektual mahasiswa namun malah membuat mahasiswa sebagai orang yang terkesan menuruti perintah”.btw, ini katanya bos-bos mahasiswa di forum sebelah.hehehe..)

Nah, pada hari kedua ini aku menemukan cewek cakep yang tidak ikut Ospek di hari pertama dan nggak tahu kalo diharuskan bawa kardus. Orangnya sangat takut dan mau nangis. Karena baik hati aku pinjamkan milikku dengan resiko aku kena hukuman lagi. Yah, jadilah aku orang yang terkenal karena sering dihukum.hehehe...

Aku sempat melihat wajahnya kalo sangat berterima kasih sama aku. Dari luar kelas kulihat dia seakan kasihan melihatku dihukum.tapi aku tersenyum aja. Aku dibentakin,ya,..diam aja.disuruh bersihin rumput, ya, nurutin aja. Setelah selesai,eh, aku masih kena hukuman lagi,..ya, terima aja. Masa’ ga’ puas ngehukum aku?..hehehe...

Hari ketiga semua masih sama.eitts,.. apanya yang sama? Maksudq biasalah, dihukum terus-terusan.hehehe.. koq ga’ kapok ngehukum aku?eh, maksudq,.. koq ga’ kapok dihuku?begitu tanya mereka. Lha wong dasiku aja belum dikembalikan, tentu aja aku jadi langganan orang kejam yang tega menghukum calon mahsiswa sebaik aku.hehehe... no protest.ghaghagha..

Jadi mahasiswa unirow bisa senang,bisa juga tidak senang.

Yang aku sesalkan, aku bahkan tidak tahu nama cewek yang kubantu dihari kedua. Aku ingat beberapa kali bertemu namun aku seakan cuek. Aku menyesal karena temannya dah seringkali menemuiku untuk sekedar entah memberitahukan sesuatu yang aku tidak pernah tahu.baru 3 tahun setelah itu aku menyadari kalo dia bisa saja adalah orang yang dikirim tuhan untuk jadi pacarku.(berharap banget nie...)

Aku mulai mengecek jejakq yang kubuat 3 tahun yang dulu.tapi sulit banget. Tanpa putus asa aku cek di Kepala jurusan untuk melihat mahasiswa yang tidak ikut Ospek di hari pertama. Aku yakin akan menemukannya karena disana ada data mahasiswa yang nggak ikut ospek di hari pertama.

Namun astaga, banyak banget yang ga’ ikut. Aku saring lagi dari mahasiswa yang berasal dari daerah manunggal ketimur karena temannya pernah bilang dia dari daerah asal lamongan. Semuanya ada 69 mahasiswa dan 56 diantaranya kuliah di pagi hari. Yang siang hari sudah aku cek dan hasilnya nihil.(karena aku kuliah disiang hari)

Yang pagi hari aku cek selama seminggu penuh sambil menginap di markas BIORA UNIROW. Tetep aja nggak ketemu. Semua kelas bahasa inggris sudah aku geledah satu persatu.

Aku berpikir mungkin dia ada di kelas bahasa indonesia karena dulu pas ospek bahas indonesia dan inggris digabung jadi satu. 2 hari aku berkelana mengecek kelas bahasa indonesia yang masuk siang dan pagi namun nihil. Aku tahu wajahnya dan masih tetap ingat bahkan setelah 5 tahun ini.

Waktu itu aku berpikir mungkin saja dia cuti,terus akhirnya dia turun kesemester dibawahnya. Pencarian belum kuakhiri. Aku cek lagi kelas bahasa baik siang maupun sore. Tetap saja hasilnya nihil. Akhirnya aku berpikir mungkin saja dia berhenti kuliah karena banyak banget mahasiswa unirow yang berhenti kuliah.

Aku down, hanya pasrah. Aku bahkan tak sempat berpikir apakah dia akan tetap ingat aku. Aku terkadang berkata ”udahlah,dia nggak akan ingat kamu lagi.lagian salahmu sendiri baru dicari setelah 3 tahun.”

Aku lelah namun aku masih menunggunya hingga saat ini. Selama ini aku selalu menunggunya dan saat ini aku hanya bisa berharap dia yang akan menemukanku. Telah kusebarkan tulisan tentang kenanganku dan saat dia membacanya pasti akan tahu kalo aku mencarinya. Setengah putus asa aku tulis juga kisah ini.

Dengan harapan dia akan kembali dan menemukanku.

Aku terkadang berpikir, mungkin saja dia telah berkeluarga. Dan saat dia menemukan tulisan ini, semua itu mungkin sudah tak berarti baginya.

Tapi itu sangat berarti bagiku.

my computer was died yesterday when i need to edit some video.it is caused by the hard disk which died and need replacing. the bad news is I LOST ALL MY SAVED DATA including my precious games. the good news is I had backup my data a week ago into my LAPTOP. but the worse news is,I didn't backup all the data. I just backup my sensitive data.the great news is I ALREADY FINISHED my RPG games.but the worst news is,I have some RPG games with total up to 672GB not backed up and I really hate to backup my PS2 into ISO.

Well,all of that didn't have a relation with my topic,but HEY,I found a letter which was created by me when i was a CHIEF at BIORA in couple years ago. the letter is so important for me.I think it isn't that important for you but,....ehhh,...I don't know what to say....hehehehe... BACK to OLD TIMES when i was rules the time and now i was too old for everything.the only things which remains is a MEMORY of LIFE. btw, just got some advices from my lecturer and my fellow master in my lovely forum on how to spent free times learning English effectively. here are the advices:

Arick, you should Read Something fun. It needs to be so much fun that you will look forward to reading it every day. I knew you love to read short stories and novels really much. if you want to read a something,It does not have to be intellectual; it does not have to improve your knowledge of science or history. just Remember: you want to convince yourself that reading in English is fun and don't feel guilty about reading comics, magazines, detective stories, romances, etc. read,read and read a lots of books.

Arick, you should actively made some post in Forums and blogs. Forums, discussion groups and blogs are a unique source of written informal language,it will be your best chance to spent times learning English. Unlike other written sources, such as books or newspapers, they are very close to the way native speakers talk. forum and blogs are excellent source of input for English learners and i believe with your 'naughty' and aggressively motivation in learning English, it will help you build your English. Ideally, stick to forums for native speakers and remember that many native speakers make spelling mistakes because they are human like us too.

what will i say, well the advices were great and gave me more motivation in learning English.

Nglirip waterfall is one of the famous waterfall in east Java. this waterfall serves the irrigation for the farmers and producing electricity for the government.
lots of people,including tourism came from all around my country. the salesman next to me said if the people from the foreign country used to came here.well, this waterfall is the greatest in my town.

Mengapa Pembelajaran BERBASIS KOMPETENSI?

Tugas Short Story (UNIROW TUBAN)

The Dragon Rock

This story begins with Once Upon A Time, because the best stories do, of course.

So, Once Upon A Time, and imagine if you can, a steep sided valley cluttered with giant, spiky green pine trees and thick, green grass that reaches to the top of your socks so that when you run, you have to bring your knees up high, like running through water. Wildflowers spread their sweet heady perfume along the gentle breezes and bees hum musically to themselves as they cheerily collect flower pollen.

People are very happy here and they work hard, keeping their houses spick and span and their children's faces clean.

This particular summer had been very hot and dry, making the lean farm dogs sleepy and still. Farmers whistled lazily to themselves and would stand and stare into the distance, trying to remember what it was that they were supposed to be doing. By two o'clock in the afternoon, the town would be in a haze of slumber, with grandmas nodding off over their knitting and farmers snoozing in the haystacks. It was very, very hot.

No matter how hot the day, however, the children would always play in the gentle, rolling meadows. With wide brimmed hats and skin slippery with sun block, they chittered and chattered like sparrows, as they frolicked in their favourite spot.

Now, their favourite spot is very important to this story because in this particular spot is a large, long, scaly rock that looks amazingly similar to a sleeping dragon.

The children knew it was a dragon.

The grown ups knew it was a dragon.

The dogs and cats and birds knew it was a dragon.

But nobody was scared because it never, ever moved.

The boys and girls would clamber all over it, poking sticks at it and hanging wet gumboots on its ears but it didn't mind in the least. The men folk would sometimes chop firewood on its zigzagged tail because it was just the right height and the Ladies Weaving Group often spun sheep fleece on its spikes.

Often on a cool night, when the stars were twinkling brightly in a velvet sky and the children peacefully asleep, the grown ups would settle for the evening with a mug of steaming cocoa in a soft cushioned armchair. Then the stories about How The Dragon Got There began. Nobody knew for sure, there were many different versions depending on which family told the tale, but one thing that everybody agreed on, was this:

This little poem was etched into everybody's minds and sometimes appeared on tea towels and grandma's embroidery.

The days went by slowly, quietly and most importantly, without any rain. There had been no rain in the valley for as long as the children could remember. The wells were starting to bring up muddy brown water and clothes had to be washed in yesterday's dishwater. The lawns had faded to a crisp biscuit colour and the flowers drooped their beautiful heads. Even the trees seemed to hang their branches like weary arms. The valley turned browner and drier and thirstier, every hot, baking day.

The townsfolk grew worried and would murmur to each other when passing with much shaking of heads and tut tuts. They would look upwards searching for rain clouds in the blue, clear sky, but none ever came.

"The tale of the Dragon cannot be true," said old Mrs Greywhistle, the shopkeeper.

"It hasn't moved an inch, I swear," replied her customer, tapping an angry foot.

It was now too hot for the children to play out in the direct sun and they would gather under the shade of the trees, digging holes in the dust and snapping brittle twigs.

"The Dragon will help us soon," said one child.

"He must do Something," agreed another.

"I'm sure he will."

They all nodded in agreement.

A week went by with no change, the people struggling along as best they could. Some were getting cross at the Dragon and would cast angry, sideways looks at it when passing. The villagers were becoming skinny eyed and sullen.

Meanwhile, the children had a plan.

Quickly and quietly, they moved invisibly around town, picking and plucking at the fading flowers. With outstretched arms and bouquets up to their chins, they rustled over to where the giant rock lay, as still as ever.

The boys and girls placed bunches of flowers around the Dragon in a big circle. They scattered petals around its head and over its nose, then danced around and around it, skipping and chanting the rhyme that they all knew so well.

The searing heat made them dizzy and fuzzy and finally they all fell in a sprawling heap at the bottom of the mound. They looked up at the rock.

Nothing happened.

A dry wind lazily picked up some flower heads and swirled them around. The air was thick with pollen and perfume. A stony grey nostril twitched.

"I saw something," cried the youngest boy.

They stared intently.

An ear swiveled like a periscope.

The ground began to rumble.

"Look out! Run!Run!"

The children scampered in all directions, shrieking and squealing, arms pumping with excitement.

The rumbling grew and grew.

The Dragon raised its sleepy head. It got onto its front feet and sat like a dog. It stood up and stretched, arching its long scaly back like a sleek tabby cat. It blinked and looked around with big kind, long lashed eyes.

And then its nostrils twitched and quivered again.

The older folk were alerted by the screams and shrieks. The ladies held up their long skirts to run and the men rolled their sleeves up and soon the whole town stood together in a tight huddle at the foot of the hill, staring up at the large beast with mouths held open.

"AHHHHH AAHHHHHHHHH!!"

The noise erupted from the Dragon.

"AHHHHH AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

The families gripped each other tighter and shut their eyes.

"AHHHHH CHOOOOOOOOO!!"

The sneeze blasted from the Dragon like a rocket, throwing it back fifty paces, causing a whirlwind of dust and dirt.

"AHHHHH CHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

The second blast split open the dry earth, sending explosions of soil and tree roots high into the sky like missiles, and something else too ...

The people heard the sound but couldn't recognize it at first for it had been such a long time since their ears had heard such tinkling melody. As their eyes widened in wonder, their smiles turned into grins and then yahoos and hoorahs.

Water, cold, clear spring water, oozed, then trickled, then roared out of the hole, down the hillside and along the valley floor.

The torrent knocked over a farmer's haystack, but he didn't care.

The river carried away the schoolteacher's bike shed but she cared not a jot. It even demolished the Ladies Bowling Club changing rooms but they howled with laughter and slapped their thighs. When the flood sent pools of water out towards the golf course, filling up sixteen of the nineteen holes, the men just hooted and whistled and threw their caps up in the air.

What used to be a dirty, brown dust bowl, now gleamed and glistened in the sunlight, sending playful waves and ripples across the lake and inviting all to share.

"HMMMMM," sighed the Dragon sleepily, and showing his perfect movie star teeth. "Seeing as I'm awake ..."

And he lumbered forward with surprising grace and style and disappeared into the cool dark water with a small wave of a claw and flick of his tail.

They never saw him again.

After the families had restored and rebuilt the village, and set up sailing clubs for the children, and scuba diving for the grandparents, they erected a bandstand and monument in the spot where the Dragon used to lay. Every year to mark the occasion, they would bring garlands of flowers and herbs and arrange them in a big circle. The children would have the day off school, for it was known as 'Water Dragon Day' and wearing the dragon masks that they had been working on all week, would skip and clap and sing.

Achoo, Achoo, ACHOOOO!

di sebelah kiri, Ocim (Ocim Igun Prasetya), sang Kepala Suku 2007D juga terlihat memperhatikan materi kuliah yang diajarkan dengan sungguh-sungguh…

Anto yang memiliki postur Atletis ini sangat menguasai Bahasa Inggris…dia sangat Antusias saat kuliah, ga’ ada yang menyangka kalo cowok yang memiliki tinggi badan ideal n’ juga smart ini ternyata sangat baik sm tman-tmannya….So, kalo ada yang kurang bisa bahasa inggris n’ sangat pengen belajar dengan pasti, jgn pernah berhenti berharap cowok ini bersedia membantu karena sepanjang yg q tau, asalkan ada niat, Atthok pst akan membantu….

selain cakep, pandai n’ baik hati,…..dia juga sangat konsisten,,,,meski kediamannya sangatlah jauh dari kampuz, dia pasti kan berusaha datang meski terkadang saat sampai di kampuz, ternyata ga’ ada kuliah….

namun ada NEGATIF yg terlihat dengan jelaz,… dia ga’ pernah terlihat dekat dengan siapapun (mksudq sama cewek,hehehe….) jgn2…..hahaha….(mksdq jgn2 ga’ pnya pacar……)

Q doa’in smoga kuliahnya cpt slesai n’ sgera tercapai cita-citanya….

Btw,da dua hal yang mengganjal d hatiq,…

1. Knapa mahasiswa yang brilian ini kuliah di Unirow,…adakah alasan atau pertimbangan serta pemikirannya knapa dia ada di UNIROW…?
