Schedule in UNIROW

the SCHEDULE for UNIROW is suspended due to my full activity in the forum. my UNIROW Schedule will be running smooth when i have figured it out on how to overcome my college notes.

by the way, i do promise my friends to write an article about communications. this is the article especially written by me. (expect some human error as my English is terrible). due to many people search for UNIROW and LOGO UNIROW, I will be offline in two days.

Improving Communication in UNIROW

As a social people in social community, communication is a crucial things to interact and connecting with other people. sometimes, communication is a big problem when it comes to speak with a someone in our live. an example is, sometimes we have really hard times to speak with a someone we really love. this article will help you to improve communication while keep it smooth and still with the proper manner in Indonesian custom.

Why we need to improve the communication skill?

Imagine this, you are lost in the jungle while there are lots of people have the same problem with you. suddenly there are other people passing in the jungle. You were still quiet and the others speak and ask with the people whom passing the jungle. other people were saved because they were speak with other people while you were still lost in the jungle and struggling to get out from it but failed because you refuse to speak and communicate with others.

I know, the example above is really bad, I knew that. the point is, We have to communicate in order to interact with other people and share our feelings.

To improve the communications, we have  to understand other people. other will not pleasure with us if we cannot understand what they say and what they want. it not only means we have to understand their language but also the topic it talked. try to understand the other people and naturally, you will understand on how to make a good communications.

make sure to speak clear and calm. we have to understand what we want to say and told them. we have to explain our points clearly and make the other people who listen to clearly understands. just remember to use the proper language.

next, we have to listen them. don't just speak, we have to listen them in order to make a good communications. try to make them as a subject and object. we should understand what they said and try to understand what they said.

the next important thing to memorize is, we have to make a decision based in the situations and learn from the experiences.

Improve Presentation Skills by Arick UNIROW

Lots of us as an English learner surely will need to be able to make a great presentation. it is not really hard and not that easy either. many students fail to present a good presentation because the lack of skill and never learn about the technique on how to improve the presentation skill.

to be able deliver the good presentation, there are several things we need to understand. here are my opinion based on my own experiences.

1.join a group. this is really good way as you will doing some presentation and your friends will give their opinion. it is the easy and effective way as you can learn from your friends presentations. learn on how they perform it and you will be able to know what are their mistake and why did they able to make a great presentation. use it at your own advantages. Don't be surprised on how bad or great you are. this is way you need join a group. to learn from others while enhancing your skills. take the good things and leave the bad things alone. this is what my teacher told me. ^_^

2.Make a group. Don't get confused by the first and the second. the first said you have to join a group and the second says you have to make your own group and you will be the leader of the group. why? here are the reasons. first, it is assumed that you have learn the basic skills from the other by joining a group and now it is the time to make a presentation in front of your own friends and ask their opinion. it will increase your confident because you already knew how to make a great presentation from the other members by joining group. Second, you will be able to know how great your skills comparing to your friends. It means you will be able to indentify how great you are in your class or your OWN community. you might be the worst in the group you have joined but i believe you could be the best in a group you have created. simply because you have a skill and others don't have it. remember to make a group based on your community and not based your class. a community based territory is great because the presentation can be performed many times. you wouldn't make a presentation if your home far away with your classmate, so choose to make a group based territory

3. make sure to do lots of practice. You have to practice everyday and every time. don't get me wrong. you could talk to the others and when they ask you a question, you can consider it is the times for you to make a presentation. if you explain it well, they will understand and your presentation skill will be improved. remember, the basic skill of the presentation is to explain and perform an action to make others understand on what we talking about. use proper manners and the skill to make a good presentation like as, make a clear statements and never show if you are panic or make explain the object by using an example.

4.make sure you could make a mistake. you are a human and thus will be able to make a mistake. You can think yourself as the best people in the class even the reality your skills is bad enough. don't worry, it happen to everyone. (happen to me lots of time). this is why you need a tools to know your limit and skills. you have to use a video recorder . a camera phones is enough. it used to analyze your skills and to supply you with the informations on how to improve your skills. this is necessary after you think yourself as the best person in class. ^_^

5.You have need to master the object of the presentations. if you want to make a presentation on how to STOP SMOKING, you have to know why we need not to smoke. are there any other way to replace it? any dangerous in it? do you have references? do you have a theory? can you prove your theory? and others. the main important thing is. don't talk to much if you don't know anything. the presentation is considered success if you can explain and the others understand. we have a limitation and thus we may couldn't explain the question. just make sure we explain if WE DON'T KNOW but explain with a manners that make the one who ask the question satisfied with your answer. how could they satisfied if I can't answer their question? this is the hard things to do and most people who make a presentation failed to understand this. many people will try to answer and debate it with the asker. it is useless as you were not fully understand about the question asked. just make sure to said you are not fully master it but keep saying your point. the asker maybe disappointed but if you explained it with the correct formulas, the asker will satisfied with you. this is hard and need lots of train. remember to increase your wisdom. ^_^

6.Speak with yourself. Hey, DON'T TRY THIS AT SCHOOL or many of your friends will think you have an error in your mind. ^_^. try this at home only. by speaking to yourself, you can be the position of the one who make a presentation and also the asker. by the way, speak with other could also help. read above.

7.Remember to always stay calm. no need to hurry. use less speak with full of density words. avoid confusing asker with the others while the question is not fully answered. stay calm and never show your fear. avoid making lots of movement while answering a question. make a good intonations and try to catch the heart of the askers with voices or other movement. when we catch their attention and they think we are interesting, we can move on the presentation with a great result.

How to Improve our Skill in Futsal at UNIROW

Some Futsal Tips: Top 5 Ways to help improve futsal skill in UNIROW

Some of my friends always ask me the technique on how to improve skills in playing Futsal. I decided to write this article so if there are anyone wish to know about it just looking at this place.. Remember these may not work for everybody but it may give you some ideas as to what will work for you.

1. Play with the Your Friends.

this is personal suggestion because it has always worked for me. Since I was young whenever I had the chance...I would always playing with my friends. During free times in Campus,I spent my times just by playing Futsal in Unirow Futsal Square.

it is believed will increase mental toughness when played with our friends because there would be competition and we will do our best to win the game. our friends will do the same and thus, it will increase our toughness.

the physical toughness Increase because Our friends playing hard and they move quickly and in order to win the game, I have to compete with them then I'd have to learn how to overcome their technique, Passing and accurate Shooting, Sometimes our friends will make hard shooting that really hard to tackle.

Playing Futsal in Unirow surely really good. I love it.

2. Learn and practice By Yourself.

To play better Futsal, don't underestimate the importance of passing and shooting. you have to be able to shoot, passing ball and stop your friends movement. Practice it by yourself and you will be fine. no need to learn on how to be master the great techniques. just focus on how to master the basics things above.

3. get a professional to teach you.

This is not necessary if you just want to be able to play futsal but this is really important to build your skill quickly and efficient. try this if you need to master futsal in just a week.

4. Play Futsal with weaker team..

Not everybody can play futsal and this is going to be your advantages, Get a team with weaker member and playing with stronger team. you maybe lose but this will make you control the game because none of the member in your people have greater skills than you. You are the one that will be the center of attention in your team and you will decided on how your team performance against your opponent team. after you found the way to control the condition in the field, you can play against weaker opponent.

5. Train your body.

use gyms or alternatively train yourself by running in the morning and night. why night? because your body will be able to overcome the problem when you have to play futsal in the night. don't forget to work out because it will help you regain you glorious moment. the more you work out, the better it will be. google is your friend that will help bringing you the technique on how to workout and train the body.

Kenanganku di UNIROW

Hmmm.... banyak banget kenangan sebagai mahasiswa unirow. Susah senang silih berganti. Terkadang menyenangkan namun suatu saat juga kurang menyenangkan.

Masih ingat dengan jelas kenangan pertama kali aku mengikuti ospek di unirow. aku teringat saat temanku satu sekolah yang tidak membawa dasi, karena aku orangnya baik,dasiku kupinjamkan kepada dia dengan resiko aku kena hukuman, ya, beginilah resiko orang yang rela berkorban demi orang lain.hehehe... biarpun dihukum,eh, ditempat itu bisa kenal sama orang-orang cakep calon penghuni unirow . emang ga’ salah apa yang dibilang orang tua. Kalo kita berbuat baik, ga’ Cuma dapat pahala,tapi juga bisa senang. And bener juga sih,...lumayan dapat kenalan baru.^_^ setelah itu masuk kelas and suasananya biasa saja. Hari pertama terlewati tanpa kenangan yang berarti selain duduk dikelas dan mendengarkan pemateri (malahan lebih menyenangkan pas dapat hukuman..hehehe..). Rasanya hambar.hehehe...

Hari kedua, Oh ya,ospek dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dan pada hari pertama tidak ada persyaratan selain memakai seragam putih,celana hitam dan memakai dasi.tentunya bersepatu juga. Hari kedua masih sama, cuman ditambahin membuat tulisan dari kardus dan dipakaikan di depan dada. Kalo hari ketiga bawa pita dan gelas aqua.(“hal yang tidak mendidik intelektual mahasiswa namun malah membuat mahasiswa sebagai orang yang terkesan menuruti perintah”.btw, ini katanya bos-bos mahasiswa di forum sebelah.hehehe..)

Nah, pada hari kedua ini aku menemukan cewek cakep yang tidak ikut Ospek di hari pertama dan nggak tahu kalo diharuskan bawa kardus. Orangnya sangat takut dan mau nangis. Karena baik hati aku pinjamkan milikku dengan resiko aku kena hukuman lagi. Yah, jadilah aku orang yang terkenal karena sering dihukum.hehehe...

Aku sempat melihat wajahnya kalo sangat berterima kasih sama aku. Dari luar kelas kulihat dia seakan kasihan melihatku dihukum.tapi aku tersenyum aja. Aku dibentakin,ya,..diam aja.disuruh bersihin rumput, ya, nurutin aja. Setelah selesai,eh, aku masih kena hukuman lagi,..ya, terima aja. Masa’ ga’ puas ngehukum aku?..hehehe...

Hari ketiga semua masih sama.eitts,.. apanya yang sama? Maksudq biasalah, dihukum terus-terusan.hehehe.. koq ga’ kapok ngehukum aku?eh, maksudq,.. koq ga’ kapok dihuku?begitu tanya mereka. Lha wong dasiku aja belum dikembalikan, tentu aja aku jadi langganan orang kejam yang tega menghukum calon mahsiswa sebaik aku.hehehe... no protest.ghaghagha..

Jadi mahasiswa unirow bisa senang,bisa juga tidak senang.

Yang aku sesalkan, aku bahkan tidak tahu nama cewek yang kubantu dihari kedua. Aku ingat beberapa kali bertemu namun aku seakan cuek. Aku menyesal karena temannya dah seringkali menemuiku untuk sekedar entah memberitahukan sesuatu yang aku tidak pernah tahu.baru 3 tahun setelah itu aku menyadari kalo dia bisa saja adalah orang yang dikirim tuhan untuk jadi pacarku.(berharap banget nie...)

Aku mulai mengecek jejakq yang kubuat 3 tahun yang dulu.tapi sulit banget. Tanpa putus asa aku cek di Kepala jurusan untuk melihat mahasiswa yang tidak ikut Ospek di hari pertama. Aku yakin akan menemukannya karena disana ada data mahasiswa yang nggak ikut ospek di hari pertama.

Namun astaga, banyak banget yang ga’ ikut. Aku saring lagi dari mahasiswa yang berasal dari daerah manunggal ketimur karena temannya pernah bilang dia dari daerah asal lamongan. Semuanya ada 69 mahasiswa dan 56 diantaranya kuliah di pagi hari. Yang siang hari sudah aku cek dan hasilnya nihil.(karena aku kuliah disiang hari)

Yang pagi hari aku cek selama seminggu penuh sambil menginap di markas BIORA UNIROW. Tetep aja nggak ketemu. Semua kelas bahasa inggris sudah aku geledah satu persatu.

Aku berpikir mungkin dia ada di kelas bahasa indonesia karena dulu pas ospek bahas indonesia dan inggris digabung jadi satu. 2 hari aku berkelana mengecek kelas bahasa indonesia yang masuk siang dan pagi namun nihil. Aku tahu wajahnya dan masih tetap ingat bahkan setelah 5 tahun ini.

Waktu itu aku berpikir mungkin saja dia cuti,terus akhirnya dia turun kesemester dibawahnya. Pencarian belum kuakhiri. Aku cek lagi kelas bahasa baik siang maupun sore. Tetap saja hasilnya nihil. Akhirnya aku berpikir mungkin saja dia berhenti kuliah karena banyak banget mahasiswa unirow yang berhenti kuliah.

Aku down, hanya pasrah. Aku bahkan tak sempat berpikir apakah dia akan tetap ingat aku. Aku terkadang berkata ”udahlah,dia nggak akan ingat kamu lagi.lagian salahmu sendiri baru dicari setelah 3 tahun.”

Aku lelah namun aku masih menunggunya hingga saat ini. Selama ini aku selalu menunggunya dan saat ini aku hanya bisa berharap dia yang akan menemukanku. Telah kusebarkan tulisan tentang kenanganku dan saat dia membacanya pasti akan tahu kalo aku mencarinya. Setengah putus asa aku tulis juga kisah ini.

Dengan harapan dia akan kembali dan menemukanku.

Aku terkadang berpikir, mungkin saja dia telah berkeluarga. Dan saat dia menemukan tulisan ini, semua itu mungkin sudah tak berarti baginya.

Tapi itu sangat berarti bagiku.

Arick, you should Read Something fun. It needs to be so much fun that you will look forward to reading it every day. I knew you love to read short stories and novels really much. if you want to read a something,It does not have to be intellectual; it does not have to improve your knowledge of science or history. just Remember: you want to convince yourself that reading in English is fun and don't feel guilty about reading comics, magazines, detective stories, romances, etc. read,read and read a lots of books.

Arick, you should actively made some post in Forums and blogs. Forums, discussion groups and blogs are a unique source of written informal language,it will be your best chance to spent times learning English. Unlike other written sources, such as books or newspapers, they are very close to the way native speakers talk. forum and blogs are excellent source of input for English learners and i believe with your 'naughty' and aggressively motivation in learning English, it will help you build your English. Ideally, stick to forums for native speakers and remember that many native speakers make spelling mistakes because they are human like us too.

what will i say, well the advices were great and gave me more motivation in learning English.
